Information We Collect: Privacy Policy
We collect information you provide directly — such as name, email, phone, and business information when you request a cost analysis or contact us. We also collect standard web analytics data (pages visited, browser type, referral source) through cookies and similar technologies.

How We Use Your Information
We use your information to respond to inquiries, provide cost analyses and statement reviews, communicate about our services, and improve our website. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
Payment Information
We do not store credit card numbers or full payment card data on our servers. Any payment processing uses PCI-DSS compliant systems.
Files You Upload
Some Brookside tools accept file uploads — for example a statement for review, or a ledger export and bank statement for reconciliation. What happens to those files depends on the tool.
Audrey, our free bank reconciliation tool, processes your files to produce your report and then deletes them. There is no account, no stored history, and no copy is kept. Files are removed as soon as the report is sent, and any file from an abandoned session is removed automatically within two hours in normal use.
Files emailed to us — including PDFs sent to hello@brooksidepayments.com when a tool cannot read them — arrive in an ordinary mailbox and are handled like any other correspondence. They are not covered by the automatic deletion described above. Please do not email material you would not want retained.
Records We Do Keep
When you accept terms in order to use a tool, we record that acceptance: the date and time, the email address you gave, the version of the terms, and a one-way hash of your IP address. This record contains no financial information and no content from any file. It is kept because it is the evidence that terms were accepted.
We also keep ordinary operational records such as mail delivery logs and server logs.
Where Your Information Is Held
Our websites and applications are hosted in the United States. Backups of our systems are held with a third-party cloud storage provider. Uploaded files covered by the deletion terms above are excluded from those backups by design.
Email is delivered through our mail provider. Ordinary email is not a secure means of transmission, and reports and correspondence sent by email travel unencrypted between mail systems.
Cookies
Our website uses cookies for basic analytics and functionality. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though some site features may not function correctly.
Third-Party Services
We use third-party services for hosting, email delivery, backup storage, content delivery and DNS, and analytics. These services have their own privacy policies governing data use. If you need a current list of the providers we use, email hello@brooksidepayments.com and we will supply it.
Data Retention
We retain contact and inquiry information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purpose for which it was collected, or as required by law. Uploaded files are retained only as described above. Records of terms acceptance are retained for as long as they may be needed as evidence of that acceptance.
Marketing
We do not sell or rent your personal information. Where a tool offers to tell you more about Brookside’s services, that offer is opt-in: nothing is sent unless you ask for it. You can decline further contact at any time by replying to any message or emailing hello@brooksidepayments.com.
